The Oktyabrsky District Court of Vladimir, at the request of the investigation, placed in custody until January 24 the director of the regional department of property and land relations Pavel Panfilov, accused of accepting a bribe on an especially large scale. The investigating authorities detained Pavel Panfilov earlier on December 4, he did not admit his guilt. According to the investigation, he was paid for a bribe of 9 million rubles. ensured the victory in the auction for the construction of a social facility based on the national project of a specific commercial structure. The cost of the state contract exceeded 460 million rubles. The official allegedly received the money through a controlled company through the conclusion of fictitious civil law contracts.

Pavel Panfilov headed the department of property and land relations since May 2019, before that he worked at the Development Corporation of the Vladimir Region. Local newspaper Zebra TV claims that he is a friend of the governor Vladimir Sipyagin.
