PDEA nabs nine drug traders, seizes P90,000 worth of shabu in Subic raid
SUBIC, Zambales — Nine drug personalities were arrested during a buy-bust operation that also led to the confiscation of some P90,000 worth of shabu at Purok 5, Barangay Calapacuan, Subic town on Sunday, July 17.
Personnel of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency identified the suspects as Jessie Jalil, 60, resident of Purok 5, Sta. Elena, Brgy. Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales; Udden Muhammad,34; Kevin Hussin, 22; Antonette Villarosa, 51; Aida Ampatue, 50; Ahaddi Calvi, 42; Nurjan Wali, 21; Romeo Isaias, 59, and Ma. Victoria Muños, 35, all of Subic, Zambales.
Jalil was also the alleged maintainer of the drug den who was high on raiders’ target list.
The suspects yielded 11 pieces of plastic sachets containing 12.9 grams of shabu amounting to P90,0000; assorted drug paraphernalia; and the marked money used in the drug sting.
The drug operation was conducted by operatives of PDEA Zambales Provincial Office, Zambales Police Provincial Office, Subic Police and 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company.
Meanwhile, three other individuals tagged as high-value-targets were arrested in an entrapment operation at around 1:40 p.m. at Purok 1, Barangay Alfonso Concepcion, Tarlac also on Sunday (July 17).
Seized from them were P108,800 worth of shabu.
The suspects were identified as Ruben Pagcu, 48; Raul Dayrit; and Ronnie Castro, 47.
Authorities said that a PDEA undercover agent secured a drug deal from the suspects for the sale of shabu.
