Mahindra To Bring A New Trim For Bolero Neo
Indian automaker Mahindra will be introducing a new variant for its Bolero Neo compact SUV soon. This variant will sit between the N8 and N10 in the variant lineup of the SUV.

About The New N8 (R) Variant
The Neo’s N8 variant comes priced at Rs. 10 lakh ex-showroom while the next N10 variant is Rs. 11.21 lakh ex-showroom. This creates a pretty huge gap of Rs.1.21 between the two variants in the SUV’s lineup. Hence, Mahindra will be rolling out the new N8 R trim priced between these two.
The N8 R variant of the Bolero Neo SUV gets a few of the top variant’s premium features such as LED DRLs and a chrome-finished front grille. The rear tailgate-mounted spare wheel has a body-coloured X-design cover. Although, the car still gets black steel wheels with wheel covers. The addition of this variant will prove beneficial for some buyers as it offers more value for money.
Additional Features
Mahindra has added the 17.2-cm touchscreen infotainment system into the N8 R which was only available on the top model N10 & N10 (O) till now. This new touchscreen supports Bluetooth, USB, and AUX connectivity as well. Apart from this, the car gets a MID in the instrument cluster along with all 4 power windows. Other things like engine idle start-stop, 12V charging socket, cornering lights, and a manually dimming IRVM are also part of the package.
There’s a welcome addition of a tyre pressure monitoring system that shows the readings in the MID on the instrument cluster. The carmaker has also added a rear washer, wiper, & defogger along with the new variant. However, other creature comforts like cruise control, electronically adjustable ORVMs, front and rear armrests, & height-adjustable driver seat are still reserved for the top variants.
Other Details
Due to the upcoming regulations, the Bolero Neo’s 1.5-litre M-Hawk turbocharged diesel engine has also been made RDE-compliant.
