Having completed ethnic cleansing in Artsakh, Ilham Aliyev spoke about peace in South Caucasus
ArmInfo.Having completed ethnic cleansing in Artsakh, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev spoke
about peace in the South Caucasus.
Thus, during a speech at the opening ceremony of the 74th
International Astronautical Congress in Baku, he declared the
uniqueness and inimitability of the Azerbaijani experience of
"restoring territorial integrity." And Aliyev did not cheat, because
the entire international community silently watched as enemy forces
cleared Artsakh of its indigenous population - the Armenians, who had
lived on this land for thousands of years.
"We put an end to the conflict. As a result of the resolution of this
conflict, we retained our dignity and restored international law.
Today we can enter an era of peace in the South Caucasus. This is our
opinion. Cooperation, mutually beneficial projects, mutual benefit -
we are demonstrating all this today," - Aliyev emphasized with
cynicism, who, inspired by the tacit encouragement of the
international community, openly boasted about how Artsakh had been
de-Armenized.
Aliyev also touched upon the role of Azerbaijan as a supplier of
energy resources to Europe. "We initiated a number of projects and
successfully implemented them together with our partners. Thus, we
ensured the energy security not only of our region, but also of the
wider region as a whole: Azerbaijan is a reliable supplier of energy
resources to international markets and is valued by the European
Union as a pan- European supplier," he noted.
The opening ceremony of the 74th International Astronautical Congress
took place today in Baku. It is noteworthy that despite the ongoing
ethnic cleansing in Artsakh, over 5 thousand representatives of space
agencies, government agencies, investors and private space companies
from 101 countries, including about 50 astronauts, arrived to this
aggressor country without a twinge of conscience. Among the agencies
and companies participating in the exhibition are the space agencies
from the USA, Russia, Turkey, Japan, Italy, France, India, etc.
