All three countries of South Caucasus should be able to decide on their own on regional affairs and development - Irakli Garibashvili
ArmInfo. All three countries of the South Caucasus should be able to decide on their own on
regional affairs and development, Georgian Premier Irakli Garibashvili said in a media statement jointly with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in Tbilisi.
"Also, I want to express a great hope that a Peace Agreement is
concluded with Armenia very soon. I want to wish this happen. I also
wish to state that we are on the same page on this topic [Peace
Agreement]. In general, I think that it will enable a long-term peace
to be established in the South Caucasus, thereby bringing prosperity
to our people - Armenia and Armenian people, Azerbaijan and
Azerbaijani people, Georgia and Georgian people.
"Georgia has always held a neutral, unbiased position in this process
and we stand ready to make our humble contribution through mediation
or facilitation - establishment of a friendly format in general.
Tbilisi is always ready to take part in this process. Our future
should be peaceful, stable and we - all three countries of the South
Caucasus - should be able to decide on our own about the regional
affairs and our development ahead," the Georgian premier said.
