Retired NYPD inspector Paul Mauro joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to give his take on why the Biden administration is responsible for the current humanitarian crisis taking place at the U.S. Southern border.
“The real devil in the details here is that the simple solution that he had in place, the real solution was Remain in Mexico. That’s really the big dog. I think the wall is more window dressing than anything else. But if Remain in Mexico gets reinstituted, what happens is the nation of Mexico becomes the wall. Because Mexico won’t let the people in to their southern border, their own southerner border. So now America has a southern border wall that’s literally thousands of miles long. And by the way, being enforced by the nation of Mexico costs us no blood and treasure. It’s just so simplistic. It’s so easy. Biden finds himself in a bind that he can’t undo something that he undid initially because it was a Trump initiative. But at some point here, you know, you need some common sense. And the idea that the simple fix won’t be instituted without tying it to two of the oldest conflicts in the world that have never been resolved, as in Gaza and Russia. Okay, yeah, let’s hook our basic security to two unresolvable, quasi biblical conflicts. Great idea, fellas. Who came up with that? Oh, Congress. What a surprise.”
