Samridhii Shukla proudly flaunts her family's Bollywood legacy
Samridhii Shukla's father, Pawan Shukla, is an actor as well as a voice-over artist. Her uncle Rishabh Shukla is also an actor. In fact, her grandmother Vandana Shastri was a renowned Bollywood actress who has worked in more than 80 films. Some of her notable works have been films like Heera aur Patther, Kudrat, Jhootha Kahi ka, and more.
Shedding light on her family legacy of actors, Samridhii Shukla said, ''I am the third generation in acting. My grandmother was an actress in Bollywood. She has acted in more than 80 films. Her name was Vandana Shastri. My father, Pawan Shukla, is an actor and a voice-over artist. Because he was a voice-over artist, I had an inclination towards the same field. My uncle, Rishabh Shukla, is also an actor. So yes, I am the third generation in acting.''
On being asked if belonging to a family who has already been working in the acting industry helped her, the actress said, ''I am someone who likes to be honest, as I never shy away from telling people that yes, my family is into acting. But with that being said, I am fully self-made. Everything that I have achieved so far, there has been no support or connection from my father, uncle, or grandmother. If that were the case, I would have been somewhere else. Yes, I can't deny that there was unlimited support from my family. In fact, it was my father who advised me to join acting, as I was more interested in corporate jobs.''
