The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode starts with Abhira criticizing herself for falling in love with Armaan. She thinks that maybe Ruhi did the right thing by bringing the divorce papers to her resort, as Ruhi knows what is best for Armaan and the rest of the family members. Dev visits the Poddar house where he requests everyone to let him meet Charu and support their love story. Armaan denies meeting him with Charu and tells him to leave. Armaan gets so angry that he pushes Dev by the collar and removes him from the house. Charu witnesses everything from her room's window.

Abhira comes to Charu's room to console her. However, Armaan tells Abhira to leave Charu. Armaan strictly warns Abhira that there is no need for her to mingle with his family members and just focus on her studies and job. This leaves Abhira further heartbroken. Vidya tries to explain to Abhira that she needs to be patient and everything will soon be alright. Abhira feels guilty about how Vidya doesn't know that nothing can ever become right as she only has three months to survive in the house.
On the other hand, Charu leaves home without telling anyone. She goes to meet Dev and informs him that they need to end their relationship as her family will never agree to their alliance. Dev is heartbroken and blames Charu for accepting defeat without even putting up a fight. As Dev is leaving in his car, Charu runs behind him to stop. Abhira eventually steps in and tells Charu to return to the house. However, by mistake, Abhira pushes Charu, due to which the latter gets hit by a car. Armaan witnesses the entire incident and believes that Charu's accident occurred because of Abhira.
