"The activities of the RA Consulate General in Tabriz can contribute to the development of Armenian- Iranian economic relations. The opening of the RA General Consultation in the city of Tabriz, East Atrapatan province of the Islamic Republic of Iran will ensure the implementation of the principle of reciprocity," the diplomatic corps states.
The Eastern Atrapatan province of the Islamic Republic of Iran borders the Syunik region of the Republic of Armenia, and the opening of the consulate general will greatly contribute to the further development of commercial, sociocultural, interpersonal and tourist ties between the two administrative-territorial units, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted.
