This Is Mark Zuckerberg's New Baby, Max

Mark Zuckerberg announced on Tuesday that his wife Priscilla Chan has given birth to a baby girl. Her name is Max, which you just don't hear every day!

In a tweet, Bloomberg reporter Sarah Frier said the baby's full name is Maxima Chan Zuckerberg. Frier also noted that the baby weighed seven pounds, eight ounces when she was born last week.

Zuckerberg and wife Priscilla Chan have been trying for years to have a baby. The Facebook head said this summer that they've had three miscarriages.

So, congratulations to the happy couple. And condolences to Max, who will have to make do with 1 percent of her family fortune: Zuckerberg is celebrating the new baby by pledging 99 percent of his Facebook shares, or about $45 billion, to a new initiative aimed at solving some of the world's biggest problems.
