New market gets a dose of glam

After years of neglect, New Market is finally getting a cosmetic makeover. The drab cement floor of the market is being paved with ceramic tiles, the dilapidated interiors have been repaired and given a fresh coat of paint, age-old electricity lines are being revamped and brand new toilets are being designed to give the iconic market a new lease of life.
