Many trains between Kerala and Chennai cancelled or postponed

KOCHI: Heavy rain in Chennai has inundated tracks and resulted in cancellation trains on Wednesday, informed southern railway authorities.Train No. 16723, Chennai-Egmore-Thiruvananthapuram Ananthapuri express scheduled to reach Thiruvananthapuram Central at 12.10 pm today is cancelled. As a result , Train No. 16724, Thiruvananthapuram Central – Chennai Egmore Ananthapuri Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram central at 4.10 pm today (December 2) is cancelled. Train No.16127, Chennai Egmaore-Guruvayoor Express scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 7.40 am today and was supposed to reach Thiruvananthapuram Central at 11.05 pm and Guruvayoor at 5.50 am on Thursday is cancelled. As a result, Train No. 16128, Guruvayoor-Chennai Egmore Express scheduled to leave Guruvayoor at 9.10 pm on Thursday will remain cancelled.Train No. 16525, Kanyakumari- Bangalore Express scheduled to leave Kanyakumari at 12.10 pm today is rescheduled to start at 4 pm today due to late running of pairing train.
