​Quota system hinders India's progress: HC

Justice JB Pardiwala of Gujarat High Court on Tuesday spoke against the need of quota system in the country after more than six decades of independence. The judge also lamented the demand for quota benefits by certain communities, "The parody of the situation is that India must be the only country wherein some of the citizens crave to be called backward."
