YEREVAN, 12 June. /ARKA/. Armenian police used stun grenades to disperse a crowd of protesters in front of the Armenian Parliament.br/pp
More than 10 explosions were heard. Bottles flew from both sides. Dozens of people were injured, some of whom were hospitalised./pp ‘Illegal force cannot be used,’ Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in response to reports of stun grenades being used./pp
National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan called for all questions to be withdrawn and the session to end. Pashinyan said he was ready to answer the deputies' questions./pp
Now, just like half an hour ago, the police continue to fulfil the functions prescribed by law, strictly in accordance with the law,’ Nikol Pashinyan said./pp
