Pashinyan: If we were not in power, Republic of Armenia would become  province

ArmInfo. If we were not in power, the situation would be the same as it is now, except that the Republic of Armenia would become a province. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated  during the government hour on June 12, answering a question from MP Aghasi Tavadyan.

"We asked ourselves this question two years ago and received an answer about what we should do to prevent this from happening. This is exactly what we are doing today,"  the head of government said.

To Tavadyan's question, "Who is to blame for what is happening?", Pashinyan pointed out that these are those who in 2017 stated from the rostrum of the Parliament that Azerbaijan will not dare to resolve the Artsakh issue by military means. " "The ones to blame are those who formed the "bubble" bloc, whose members, as it turned out, did not fulfill their contractual obligations but instead they planned a war with Azerbaijan against us," he emphasized. The Prime Minister noted that today the authorities are building a sovereign state based on the concept of a real Armenia. "We are moving towards a real Armenia, sovereign, safe, peaceful, with delimited borders," he said.
