Watch: Friendship Is Complicated In New Trailer For 'Girls' Season 5

While the show has not quite reached the level at which it is only hate-watched, there is certainly a contingent who seem to watch "Girls" for nothing more than to see what Lena Dunham does to stir the pot next. While the show has no longer achieves the consistency of the first couple of seasons, it still boasts fine performances all around, and season five looks no different.

A new trailer has landed for the next batch of episodes, and as always, the lives of the characters are all over the place. Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) is now living in Japan, Hannah (Dunham) appears to be in a "it's complicated" relationship with her ex, the evidently not 100% gay Elijah (Andrew Rannells), Jessa (Jemima Kirke) is her usual caustic self, while Marnie (Allison Williams) looks to be getting married to someone she's not known for very long.

"Girls" returns on Sunday, February 21st. Watch below.
