Box shares slip after in-line loss on higher-than-expected revenue
Box Inc. shares slid in the extended session Wednesday after the cloud-storage company reported a quarterly loss in-line with Wall Street estimates. Box shares declined 2.5% to $13.80. The company reported an adjusted third-quarter loss of 31 cents a share on revenue of $78.7 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected a loss of 31 cents a share on revenue of $76.8 million. Box forecast fourth-quarter revenue of $81 million to $82 million, and $299 million to $300 million for the year. Analysts estimate $80.8 million for the fourth quarter, and $296.7 million for the year.
