Village of 10k casts 28 votes

On Gozariya seat in Mehsana taluka panchayat, an almost-complete village voting boycott call -over the perceived insult to the village, by the rolling back of the decision to grant it taluka headquarters status -heralded a win for Congress candidate Bhavna Patel by just 22 votes.Gozariya had 10 polling booths and 10,000-odd voters but polled a total of only 28 votes.
