Gujarat high co urt, on Wednesday , criticized the way animals are kept in cattle pounds in the state, and com mented that cattle at panjrapols are at the mercy of the almighty The court's terse comment came in response to a petition filed by a farmer, whose 10 buffaloes and two oxen were seized by Patan police from near Unja in August The farmer, Irfankhan Pathan had claimed that he was enga ged in animal husbandry and was transporting the cattle to his farm.
