Survey shows crop failure in Chandrapur

The latest survey on agriculture status conducted by the revenue department revealed a grim picture of crop failure in Chandrapur. The district administration, in its report on ‘revised paisewari’ has included 1,196 villages among the villages having paisewari less than 50 paisa. So far, none of the villages in Chandrapur was included in drought-hit list earlier declared by state government.
