Kevin Spacey to be guest of honor at Golden Apricot Film Festival
ArmInfo. One of the best American film and theater actors, the outstanding Kevin Spacey will
be guest of honor at the 21st Golden Apricot International Film Festival.
Spacey is a two-time Oscar winner, a Golden Globe winner for Best
Actor in a TV Series, and a Laurence Olivier Award for Best
Theatrical Role. He began his career on the stage, and in 1995, he
received critical acclaim for his role as John Doe in the film Seven.
Kevin Spacey's most successful works to date include The Usual
Suspects, American Beauty, The Life of David Gale, Superman Returns,
and the House of Cards TV series. Over the past 40 years, Spacey has
starred with such stars as Brad Pitt, Martin Freeman, Al Pacino, Kim
Basinger, Russell Crowe, Sam Rockwell, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jeff Bridges,
Jack Lemmon, Annette Bening, and collaborated with the best American
and British directors, including David Fincher, Alan Parker, Sam
Mendes, Edgar Wright, Curtis Hanson, John Lasseter, Duncan Jones,
Mike Nichols, Bryan Singer, and others.
We remind you that this year the "Golden Apricot" will be held from
July 7 to 14 and will be dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Sergei
Parajanov and Charles Aznavour.
According to tradition, within the framework of the "Golden Apricot",
Yerevan viewers will have the opportunity to watch competition films
from different countries of the world, as well as from the most
prestigious film festivals (Cannes, Berlin, etc.). A visit by
prominent figures of world cinema is also expected, who will present
their experience and art to film lovers in Armenia.
