​Man City on right lines with Virgin Trains

Manchester City have named Virgin Trains as the official travel provider of City in the City, the soccer club's fan engagement events series, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

The deal sees Virgin Trains become the second premium brand to sponsor City in the City for the 2015/16 season, joining the series presenting sponsor Henley Investments.

As part of the deal, the UK train operating company will provide Manchester City fans with travel discounts along their west coast network, including a 25 per cent discount on advance off-peak fares for all MCFC Cityzens members across the country.

Virgin Trains will also offer City fans based in London and the South East a 25 per cent discount on first class travel on trains from London to Manchester on matchdays.

Additionally, Virgin trains will work with the club on a number of brand activations throughout the season, designed to cater for both fans and corporate guests.

City in the City is a series of events put on by the club throughout the season aimed at increasing engagement among their London-based fans.
