Liverpool increase presence in Southeast Asia

0

Liverpool have signed a two-year partnership with Singapore-based insurance co-operative NTUC Income, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

The deal sees Liverpool expand their presence in Southeast Asia, becoming the official partner of the firm's corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme OrangeAid.

Liverpool will use their brand and fanbase in the region to grow awareness of the programme's initiatives and objectives.

As part of the deal, Liverpool will provide NTUC Income with signed jerseys, while club legends will fly out to Singapore in the coming months to participate in events involving beneficiaries of OrangeAid.

NTUC Income's senior vice president of strategic marketing and communications, Marcus Chew, said: "We are delighted to partner Liverpool Football Club because it is a well-renowned football club with a very large fan base in Singapore.

"More importantly, it is a club whose values are very much aligned with the underpinning values of NTUC Income's OrangeAid – being involved in the community, helping people build better futures, and developing people to reach their full potential."

Liverpool FC's chief commercial officer, Billy Hogan, said: "We look forward to working with NTUC Income's OrangeAid to support a segment of the community in Singapore that needs a helping hand."
