IUML also challenges ban on beef

The city unit of the Kerala-based Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) has approached the Bombay high court challenging the constitutional validity of Maharashtra’s beef law, enacted earlier this year, that banned the slaughter of bulls and bullocks, in addition to an earlier ban on cow slaughter.
