Use phone to get traffic updates, report offenders

Road users will have soon have the option of sending feedback to traffic police directly using mobile phone. A project worth Rs 39 lakh has been commissioned to an IT firm to create a mobile application for road users. Users of the app will have option of viewing traffic advisories before setting out on commute. Notifications about choke-ups and jams will also be issued on regular basis.
