Obama: Motive Not Clear, FBI: It's Terrorism
Shockingly, it appears that the Muslim terrorist was a... Muslim terrorist. Or one of those "Nothing To Do With Islam" Muslim terrorists. You know, the kind that quote the Koran, kill people in response to Fatwas and do other non-Muslim things like shouting, "Allahu Akbar".
According to Obama, it could be anything. Workplace violence, terrorism or maybe Global Warming. Either way we need to take away guns from Americans and give them to Syrian Jihadists instead.
"We do not know why this terrible event occurred," he said. The "terrible event" being a massacre. "It's also possible that this was workplace related," the denier-in-chief suggests.
You know it's Muslim terrorism when he trots out the let's not jump to any conclusions, wait to get to the bottom of this with all the facts and wait for the investigation outcome speech. Either that or someone in his administration did something illegal.
The FBI however is looking at terrorism and it appears he was following the usual patterns of Jihadists.
But authorities told NBC News on Thursday that Farook appeared to have been radicalized. They said he had been in touch with people in the Los Angeles area who have expressed jihadist-oriented views.
Intelligence sources told NBC News that Farook appeared to have been in some form of communication with overseas individuals who are persons of interest to American authorities.
Just like Nidal Hassan, our last major case of "workplace violence".
This could have been averted if Americans hadn't been told to fear being Islamophobic.
A man who has been working in the area said he noticed a half-dozen Middle Eastern men in the area in recent weeks, but decided not to report anything since he did not wish to racially profile those people.
“We sat around lunch thinking, ‘What war they doing around the neighborhood?’” he said. “We’d see them leave where they’re raiding the apartment.”
