Pay full fare for extra seat for kids on trains

In a move that could adversely affect the travel budget of middle-class families, the railway ministry has decided to charge full fare for children aged 5-12 if a separate seat or berth is sought. Till now, children aged 5-12 were entitled for a separate seat or berth at half the fare.
