  It may be what she’s best known for, but Jenna Jameson is “not here for porn” – she’s here for Celebrity Big Brother! The Republican is “very political”, and wants to voice her views on the government in the house. She described herself as “balls out” and “a beast” for selling her company for $30 million, and is worried about “a whole month without sexual contact”. Oo-er.

  The rapper / hypeman, best known for his 2003 hit Be Faithful wants people to “know the other side” of him as he enters Celebrity Big Brother. He claims he can avoid arguments as he is “a cool guy” in his nature – but will he remain chilled once in the house?

  Five years after Stephen Baldwin entered the Celebrity Big Brother house, in comes another member of the famous family. He’s a little worried that his snoring might affect the other housemates, and struggles with “people who don’t pull their weight”.

• 4/12 James Hill

  After repeatedly putting his foot in his mouth on The Apprentice, James Hill says the hardest thing on entering the house will be to make he’s not “talking rubbish”. The UK star says he’s patriotic, and admits he’s “game” for someone to put him in fancy dress.

  The model and reality star reckons Big Brother Is “a perfect environment to let loose”, and says that while some people have a preconception of her, she’s “really not that girl”. She enjoys that the UK has “no mercies with nudity”, and claims she would do unmentionable things to Tom Hardy’s unmentionables.

  The Bill’s DI Burnside, aka Chris Ellison, is part of Team UK. He admits he’s “quite lazy”, and “probably fart[s]”. After coming out on top when he went on Come Dine With Me, he’s hoping to add another reality show win to his belt.

  Model Austin Armacost might be American, but he’s actually lived in the UK for 5 years already. Known for being Marc Jacobs’ ex-boyfriend, he’s already being pinned as the new Perez Hilton. However, while he admit to being outspoken, he says he’ll tell people what he thinks “in a less bitchy way than Perez”.

  24 year-old US reality star Farrah Abraham rose to fame as a star of 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom – and she’s a divisive figure, as Austin Armacost said he would “hate to see [her] walk through the doors”. The sex tape star isn’t afraid of booing crowds, and was “raised to be patriotic”.

  TV presenter Gail Porter says she’s entering Celebrity Big Brother “because [her] daughter is a teenager and it’s a cool programme”, although she says she’d “prefer it if she didn’t watch”. Porter says she will try and avoid conflict in the house, but will step up against bullies – who should watch out because she knows martial arts!

  Ex-Atomic Kitten Natasha Hamilton says she lives in the moment, and reckon “it would be great” to win the show. She admits “the Yanks won’t know who [she is]”, and wants to show that she has “more substance than just being a girl from a pop band”.

• 11/12 Sherrie Hewson

  Soap star and Loose Women contributor says she “cries a lot”, and reckons Brits are soft, while Americans are brash. She’s “a little bit OCD on cleaning”, and would celebrate winning the show with a trip to Benidorm – although she doesn’t think she’ll make it to the end of the competition.

  Yes - the engaged X Factor couple are both headed into the house! Stevi says that Celebrity Big Brother will “make or break” their relationship, while Chloe says they’ll be “devastated” to miss the start of the new series of The X Factor.
