SC grants liberty to approach appropriate authority on Netaji’s name

The Supreme Court on Friday granted leave to a petitioner from Kolkata to approach appropriate authority at the Centre to include Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s name in a list under the Emblems and Names (Prevention of Improper Use) Act, 1950, thereby preventing its use for commercial purposes.
