Makers had roped in TV actress Sukriti Kandpal to play the role of Shruti, Anuj's finance in the show. The actress is all set to bid adieu to Anupamaa as the show is heading towards another leap.

Sukriti Kandpal to bid adieu?

In a conversation with Times Now, Sukirti Kandpal confirmed the development as she revealed the reason for bidding adieu to the show. She said that she came into the show as a cameo and feels that it would not be possible to make her look old technically. A lot of things must have been decided by the makers, said Sukriti. She even said that she was signed for six months and she is happy as the journey was nice. As per the current track of Anupamaa, Shruti gets exposed in front of Anuj and she leaves a letter for him as she returns to USA.

Sukriti spoke about how her character has received closure and said that she initially signed for three months, but it was extended to six months. She said that it was a pleasant experience on the sets of Anupamaa as the whole cast and crew are very cordial.
