The movie is a sequel to the 2018 film Stree, which received great reviews and an amazing response at the box office. Last month, the makers dropped a Stree 2 teaser that hinted at more horror and comedy in the sequel to keep the audience entertained. However, the promo didn't give any idea about the premise of the second part. In the first movie, we see Rajkummar Rao's Vicky and Shraddha Kapoor's character calm Stree's ghost and bring peace in Chanderi. However, the ghost is now back to haunt the men. Stree 2 Trailer Release Date Update
As reported by Bollywood Hungama, the Stree 2 trailer will be out on July 18, 2024 (Thursday). The report mentions that it will also be attached to Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk's film Bad Newz. Directed by Anand Tiwari, the romantic comedy hits theatres on July 10, 2024.
Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana's Stree 2 will release in theatres on August 15, 2024. Fans are hoping the sequel reveals the mystery behind Shraddha's character, whose name was not revealed in the first part. Furthermore, many are hoping Varun Dhawan's Bhediya makes a special appearance in the horror comedy. Along with Amar Kaushik being the director of both movies, Abhishek Banerjee's Janardan is the common link between both movies.
