The latest preview focuses on the SUV’s rear design, showcasing distinctive inverted L-shaped LED taillights and the familiar Skoda lettering on the tailgate. The overall design is expected to align with Skoda’s Modern Solid design language, featuring elements like the signature butterfly grille and split LED headlights.
Platform and Dimensions
Set to be built on the MQB-A0 IN platform, Skoda’s new sub-compact SUV will share similarities with the Kushaq in terms of design and proportions. Spy shots have confirmed a clean and taut design language, typical of Skoda models.
Powertrain and Features
Under the hood, the SUV is likely to be powered by a 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine paired with either a manual or automatic transmission. Inside, the cabin is expected to share similarities with the Kushaq, offering features like a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging, sunroof, cruise control, and ventilated front seats.
Safety and Launch
Safety features are expected to include up to six airbags, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, and a tire pressure monitoring system. The Skoda sub-compact SUV is set to make its global debut in early 2025, with a launch in India soon after. It is expected to be priced at around Rs 8.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
