Blame Me For Arsenal’s Injury Crisis – Wenger
Arsene Wenger says he will take full blame for Arsenal’s injury crisis while giving updates on the comeback dates of some of his stars.
Speaking at a pre-match conference, Wenger appeared irritated by the constant questions about Arsenal’s injury crisis especially Alexis Sanchez injury.
Alexis Sanchez was substituted after complaining of a hamstring pain in the 1 – 1 draw with Norwich City. Weeks before, Wenger admitted his star player needed rest.
It is believed Wenger could be out for a month.

Wenger said at a pre-match conference: “If you want to blame me for injuries I have no problem with it,” he told reporters when asked about Alexis.
“Sanchez had four weeks holiday, he was rested in some games. We had five days between Dinamo [Zagreb] and Norwich.
“I spoke with him before the game and he was adamant that he could play. I never force anyone to play. No one said he could displace his hamstring or back when he was shoved into the cameras [by Ryan Bennett].
“If you want to blame me with the injuries, I have no problem with it.”

Despite the increasing number of injuries affecting his team, Wenger refuses to blame his physios and club doctors.
He said: “It’s a debate that I leave to specialists. We compare our injuries across Europe and I don’t think we have more injuries than anyone else.”
The club is facing a mini-injury crisis with the likes of Jack Wilshere, Francis Coquelin, Danny Welbeck, Theo Walcott, Oxlade Chamberlain, Tomas Rosick, Santi Carzola, Alexis Sanchez, Mikel Arteta all missing out in action.
