China dressing up air quality data: US study

Though Delhi's air quality is increasingly compared adversely with Beijing's, studies have found discrepancies in Chinese data with some evidence of 24-hour averages-usually the basis for comparisons-being tweaked to look better than what hourly readings of pollution monitors in China's capital suggest.
