NKR Defense Ministry repels Azerbaijani sabotage attack: Armenian serviceman killed

On December 4, at 4:30 am Azerbaijan mounted a sabotage attack on the northeastern section of the contact line of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijani troops.   

The press office of the NKR Defense Army has told ArmInfo that the frontline detachments of the Defense Army stopped the raiders and threw them back. "Unfortunately, serviceman Erik Grigoryan (born in 1995) received a fatal gunshot wound. The incident is being investigated. The NKR Defense Army extends condolences to Grigoryan's relatives," the statement says.     

To note, on December 3 night, Azerbaijan breached the ceasefire along the NKR-Azerbaijan line of contact for 80 times by firing over 650 shots from various weapons, including 60mm and 80mm mortars, AGS-17 and RPG-7 grenade launchers and TR-107 rocket launchers. The adversary keeps breaching the ceasefire.  The NKR Defense Army is taking retaliatory measures to suppress the adversary's steps.
