Damage to nameplates triggers tension in Munger town

Miscreants damaged three nameplates near the life-size statue of Jan Sangh founder Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay in the wee hours on Friday at Munger. As soon as residents of Bekapur and neighbouring Gandhi Chowk area of the town under Kotwali police station noticed that all the three nameplates had been badly damaged, the news spread like wild fire.
