Free and anonymous tests for HIV, hepatitis and syphilis available in a number of cities in Armenia

YEREVAN, 25 July. /ARKA/. The Armenian Ministry of Health announced today the launch of a campaign for free and anonymous HIV, hepatitis B and C and syphilis testing of citizens in Yerevan and regions from 28 to 30 July./pp

Mobile clinics of the National Centre for Infectious Diseases will operate in the following locations:/pp 28 July - Yerevan (Freedom Square, 14:00-20:00),/pp 29 July - Gyumri (the square adjacent to Kirk Kerkorian monument, 11:30-17:30),/pp 29 July - Vanadzor (near Artsakh Park, 11:30-17:30),/pp 30 July - Artashat (the square adjacent to the agricultural market, 11:30-17:30),/pp 30 July - Abovyan (Republic Street, 11:30-17:30),/pp 30 July - Gavar (area adjacent to the former agricultural market, 11:00-17:00)./pp

The campaign, timed to coincide with the International Hepatitis Day, is held by the National Center for Infectious Diseases of the Ministry of Health within the framework of the grant programme ‘Prevention of HIV infection among labour migrants, improvement of research and consultations on HIV infection’.-0-./p
