The wives of Gary Barlow and Jason Donovan have founded a firm selling ethically sourced gifts for boys.

Mobs London was set up by Dawn Barlow, who has three children with Gary, and Angela Malloch, who has three with Donovan.

The pair started work on the firm in March after becoming frustrated while trying to find gifts for their teenage sons.

Dawn said: “We felt the market was flooded with great products for girls and, unless you want tech or novelty, nothing for the boys. It was as simple as us just saying to each other ‘Why don’t we fill the gap ourselves?’ We did a lot of market research, mostly on our boys and their friends. We found they really like to keep things simple and that was a good starting point.”

Their range includes T-shirts, wallets, messenger bags and games. Prices go from £7 to £250. Dawn added: “Important for us from the offset was to build a strong, cool, simple brand with high ethical policies wherever possible.”
