This cat carrier will make your feline friend feel like an astronaut
Want your cat to go boldly go where no other moggy has gone before? Then you might want to try these astronaut-inspired satchels and backpacks next time you’re attempting to board the District Line with your feline friend.
U-Pet, an American pet accessories company, is now offering Patent Bubble Carriers, designed with astronaut suits in mind, to help your cat travel in space style.
The cat-packs, which are also described as suitable for small dogs too, come in multiple forms: satchels, bags, and cases, and are ventilated with tiny holes. There is also an in-built bubble window in all of the designs so your cat can safely peer out at the world.
The Evening Standard has not tested the cat carriers for safety, but its Amazon seller page has received largely positive reviews.
"The carrier is not only really cool, but very well made!" writes one reviewer. "My yorkie enjoys the bubble window and I get lots of compliments on it."
The bags, priced $99 each, are currently out of stock on Amazon due to overwhelming demand - but let's hope replenish before Christmas.
