Today is Friendship Day 2024, and there are several Bollywood friendships we love talking about. Even when things went wrong, they always found their way back and remained true friends with each other. One such friendship that has lasted for years is between Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. The duo worked together on a movie called Saajan in 1991 and, since then, have stayed true friends.

Once, Salman Khan revealed how Sanjay Dutt tried to convince him to get married. The Tiger 3 actor made this revelation on the show Aap Ki Adalat. Salman said that Sanjay was quite persistent in convincing him to get married. The Munnabhai MBBS star once told Khan that it feels amazing to get married. When he is exhausted and returns home after work, his wife will ask him about his day and whether anyone has irritated him. Dutt told Khan that if he is exhausted after working throughout the day, his wife will give him water or a drink.
Salman Khan said, "He would tell me, 'Get married, Bhaijaan. All these things, bachelorhood is bakwaas, bullsh*t." However, the Wanted star never took Sanjay's advice and has remained unmarried till date. Salman also shared another anecdote when Sanjay Dutt told him he's getting married again. Dutt called him to inform Khan of the same, and the superstar told his friend not to get married. Sanjay then informed Salman that he was in the midst of his third phera and called him to share this information. Salman told the host how kind Sanjay is and how much he loves him.
After Saajan, Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt worked together in the 2000 movie Chal Mere Bhai. The romantic comedy also starred Karisma Kapoor. Now, fans will get to see the duo on screen again for AP Dhillon's music video.

Currently, Salman Khan is busy with AR Murugados' action film Sikandar. It also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Sathyaraj. The action thriller is all set to release in theatres on Eid in 2025. On the other hand, Sanjay Dutt is gearing up for his upcoming release, Double iSmart. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, it is a Telugu action thriller that also stars Ram Pothineni and Kavya Thapar. The film is scheduled for release on Independence Day this year. Sanjay's film will clash with three Hindi movies on August 15: Stree 2, Vedaa, and Khel Khel Mein.
