As reported by the Hindustan Times, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala will get engaged on August 8 (Thursday) in the afternoon. It will be an intimate ceremony and will be held at Nagarjuna's house. Reports mention that Akkineni Nagarjuna will be the first person to officially announce his son's engagement to Sobhita. He will make the big reveal on social media.
For the engagement ceremony, Naga's family and Sobhita's parents will be present at the venue. The actor's house is in Hyderabad's Jubilee Hills and is a popular landmark like Shah Rukh Khan's Mannat in Mumbai's Bandra area. Furthermore, Naga Chaitanya, who has been shooting for the movie Thandel, has taken a pause. A source close to the production house revealed that Chay has taken a leave from working on the film today. It only further confirms that Naga might indeed be getting engaged to the Made in Heaven actress today.
Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya was earlier married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu. However, the duo got separated in October 2021. Chay and Sobhita's dating rumours began in 2022, and fans would often try to connect dots on Reddit and Instagram to prove that the two were indeed together.

On the work front, Sobhita Dhulipala was last seen in the Hollywood film Monkey Man. Directed by Dev Patel, the action thriller stars Dev, Sikandar Kher, Sharlto Copley, Pitobash, and Vipin Sharma. Sobhita also impressed the audience with her performances in Made in Heaven Season 2 and The Night Manager. On the other hand, Naga Chaitanya was last seen in the film Custory. Last year, the actor made his OTT debut with the series Dhootha. Chay's next film, Thandel, is being helmed by Chandoo Mondeti and also stars Sai Pallavi in the lead role.
