Naga Chaitanya and SobhitaDhulipala got engaged on August 8, 2024, in an intimate ceremony held at Chay's residence in Hyderabad. His father, Akkineni Nagarjuna, shared the joyful news on social media. The couple had been dating for almost two years before getting engaged. This engagement also marked the first time they officially confirmed their relationship. However, fans have often speculated that the duo is dating by analysing their photos and the vacations they took together.
Since their engagement, fans have been eager to know more about the couple's wedding plans. According to recent entertainment news, there are speculations about when and where Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala will tie the knot. Although the couple hasn't shared any details about their wedding, reports suggest they have narrowed down two possible dates for the ceremony. There are rumours that the wedding will happen this year or in March 2025. The couple is mostly opting for a destination wedding in Rajasthan. However, reports state that they are also considering locations in Madhya Pradesh and even places outside of India. These are just speculations as neither of them have confirmed anything yet.

Earlier, in an interview with Times Now, Chay's father and Tollywood star Nagarjuna revealed in a recent interview that the couple is not in a rush to get married soon. Their engagement happened in such a hurry, as August 8 was an auspicious day. The couple is taking their own time to plan the wedding. Further, Nagarjuna also expressed his happiness, saying that after a difficult period following his separation from Samantha, Chaitanya has found happiness again with Sobhita. The actor said that the duo truly loves each other.
