KTM 390 Enduro Spotted Testing in India
KTM’s ongoing model refresh has now extended to its adventurous lineup. Following the recent sighting of the next-gen 390 Adventure, the highly anticipated 390 Enduro has been spotted undergoing rigorous testing in India.
Captured by Zigwheels, The 390 Enduro showcases KTM’s signature dual-sport design, with sharp lines, a prominent front fender, and a sculpted tank. It features a single-piece LED headlight, raised handlebars, and a fully digital instrument console that differs from the navigation-equipped unit seen on the previous 390 Adventure test bike.
Off-road capability is evident in the adjustable long-travel USD forks, offset monoshock from WP Suspension, and spoke rims (21-inch front, 18-inch rear). The bike is likely fitted with off-road-oriented dual-purpose Reise trailR tyres, previously seen in earlier spy shots.
While the bodywork differs significantly from the 390 Duke, the fuel tank’s shape and slightly elevated fuel-filler area suggest it might share the same 15-liter unit. The presence of a saree guard confirms the bike’s intended market.
Under the hood, the 390 Enduro will be powered by the familiar 399cc engine from the KTM 390 Duke, delivering 44.6 bhp and 39 Nm of torque. While the engine tuning is expected to be similar to the Duke, adjustments may be made to the final drive for improved off-road performance, potentially focusing on low-end torque.
Expected to be priced around ₹3.25 lakh (ex-showroom), the 2024 KTM 390 Enduro will compete with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the upcoming Hero XPulse 400.
