​Kane urges Tottenham to seize the moment

Tottenham striker Harry Kane has urged his team-mates to take full advantage of a wide open Premier League title race.

Fifth-placed Spurs are six points adrift of surprise leaders Leicester after a weekend in which Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and struggling Chelsea failed to score and collected only one point between them.

"The League is wide open," said the England forward. "You couldn't really call a winner, whereas in other seasons one team will run away with it. We know what can be achieved.

"We have winnable games coming up, so it's an important month for us. We can definitely push up the League and it is a funny season in the Premier League — everyone seems to be beating everyone else.

"Look at Leicester. They are a good side and they have put a great run together. They will be full of confidence and trying to stay up there. We have to try to catch them and keep the teams around us at arm's length."
