​In-demand Chelsea youngster Musonda delighted with loan opportunity

Chelsea have responded to the threat of interest from Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United in starlet Charly Musonda by agreeing to loan him out in the new year, reports the London Evening Standard.

The 19 year old is a highly-rated member of Chelsea's youth set-up but has yet to appear for the senior side.

Earlier this month, his father urged him to leave Stamford Bridge, prompting Chelsea's Premier League rivals to all line up a bid.

However, Musonda confirmed on his official Instagram account (although the post has since been deleted), that the Blues have agreed to send him to another club in January in order to get regular first team football. The Belgian also confirmed his commitment to the Blues.

He wrote: "Enjoyed playing youth football at Chelsea by winning titles and creating some unforgettable memories in the process.

"It's now time to take the next step to continue my progression on loan and develop furthermore towards becoming one of the very best one day at Chelsea. With hard work and dedication I believe I can and I'm very excited."
