These are the 10 most popular tweets of 2015 — and they're dominated by One Direction (TWTR)

Twitter just released its year-end list of 2015's most popular tweets — that is, the top 10 tweets with the most retweets.
The list is dominated by tweets from boy band One Direction. Five of the top 10 most popular tweets this year were sent by members of the band (It's pretty evenly distributed, too — each member, including former One Direction member Zayn Malik, has one tweet in the top 10).
This jives with what we've heard from talking to teenagers — they say most people their age aren't using Twitter as a platform, with the exception being teens who closely follow bands like One Direction or 5 Seconds of Summer, which have huge followings on the platform.
Other tweets in this year's top 10 roundup come from elected officials and celebrities.
