Veteran Nollywood actress Liz Benson-Ameye becomes an overbearing mother due to the love she has for her son in the movie Mummy Dearest.

The movie Mummy Dearest shows how a mother is overly concerned about her children and their families scattered all over the world by calling them endlessly, thereby becoming intrusive.  Her only son who feels disturbed by his mum’s incessant calls, travels from his base in Lagos to Port Harcourt to spend his annual leave with her upon reflections after the demise of a colleague’s mother.

Aside finding her son’s job too busy and not making him enjoy his annual leave with his mother, he began to get more frustrated when his mother who was disturbing him to get married was not ready to welcome any of his female friends in the home, let alone hangout with them.
