"If Anybody Belittles Him, They Belittle Me”: Anthony Daniels Talks C-3PO Plus New TV Spot For 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'
The actor who has appeared in every "Star Wars" film is also the one with arguably the most troubled relationship with the series. Anthony Daniels, the man in the C-3PO suit, has often been critical of the "Star Wars" movies, including the upcoming 'The Force Awakens' —he grumbled earlier in the year that “the secrecy has been beyond ludicrous.” Yet a new profile in Vulture shows that the actor has at least accepted his place in cinema history and is fairly protective of his role as the chatty droid.

“There are times I have felt belittled. And I think occasionally it makes me overly pretentious, clever and didactic. I want somebody to know I’ve got a brain," Daniels reveals.
