“Call Me Mr. Governor Not Executive Governor” – Abubakar Bello
Abubakar Sani Bello, the Governor of Niger state, will drop the title of the “Executive Governor” and would be addressed simply as “Mr. Governor” since January next year.
The information about designation changes was made public by the governor during the swearing in ceremony of five new Niger State High Court Judges at the Government House, Minna, on Monday, December 7.

The governor said: “At this point, I find it necessary to inform everyone that henceforth, starting from 1st of January 2016, the Governor shall be addressed as simply ‘the Governor of Niger State and not as the Executive Governor.'”
Besides, “insignia, seal, emblem, letter heads and complementary cards shall bear the Governor of Niger State and not the Executive Governor.” The governor’s decision was recieved with wide ovation from dignitaries at ceremony.

Abubakar Sani Bello was sworn in as the Governor of Niger state on 29 May 2015. Born on 17 December 1967. He is the eldest child of the Nigerian Billionaire and former military Governor of old Kano state Col Sani Bello (RTD).
