Armenian protest movement to apply to Prosecutor`s Office
ArmInfo. In Armenia, every official will suffer the fate of former Justice Minister Grigor Minasyan. The leader of the Sacred Struggle movement, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, told journalists this yesterday evening.
According to him, the movement intends to submit a report to the prosecutor's office on crimes committed by officials of the country. The package of reports will be submitted to the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia on October 9 at 12:00. "We have filed a lawsuit against various officials, and this process will continue until we achieve what we want, and we want one thing - the Motherland and honor," the archbishop said. He emphasized that if it comes to power, the movement will seek the withdrawal of Azerbaijani troops from the territory of Armenia, the return of prisoners of war and detainees, and the creation of conditions for the return of the Armenians of Artsakh to their homeland. "For me, the choice is simple: the homeland or death," the archbishop said.
At the same time, he called for an end to the attacks on the head of the Shirak Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Mikael Alzhapakhyan, who recently criticized the movement, calling on Galstanyan to return to serving the church. "Stop insulting Archbishop Mikael Ajapakhian, I perceive these as words addressed to me. I take any insult directed at anyone as personal, and this is worthy of condemnation. We may have ideological differences, but the goal is the same. This false trap of the current - former was created so that we could not get out of this net. I have great respect for Archbishop Mikael, he is my teacher. He said certain things about me, of course, I do not accept, but this does not mean that I should resort to insults. Then how are we different from this hooliganism?" Galstanyan said, adding that after Mikael Aljapakhian's statement he did not talk to the latter and has not talked to him for the past month.
